When one needs a turn of speed to take in the many beautiful sights of Turkey's Turquoise coast there is none better than the stylish Ferretti. Captain Ramamzan has spent many years on this Turkish coast and the Greek Islands and would be delighted to share a good itinerary, taking in some of the famous ancient sites as well as quiet coves and bays for you to simply 'chill out' and relax.
In a 7 day charter one could start in Bodrum and cruise each day towards Gocek around 150 miles East. This is called the Blue Route. Along the way there are many lovely bays and anchorages to stop off for the night. Depending on what you would like to see and enjoy, generally you would arrive at two new places each day. There lovely unmarked walks amongst ancient ruins, little ports and fine little family run restaurants to visit (no need to visit marinas). Should one have the time on this route one could visit the Greek Islands of Simi and Kos. This is but one suggestion. Alternatively one could charter Eastwards from Gocek towards Kas, Kalkan and Kekova (Ancient Lycia) and back to Gocek which is situated on the enormous Gulf of Fethiye. It's warmer here in the Spring and Autumn and protected from the cool winds one finds in Bodrum far off to the West.
Should you wish to keep in touch with the 'outside world', 'Splendido' and her crew provide communications and WiFi to meet your every need. If you would like to 'opt out' they will provide you total shelter 'far from the madding crowd' in splendid luxury.
This vessel was inspected by Andrew Hanna in February 2010. She is in very good condition and has a very good crew and considerate Owner. This is an excellent combination.
