The Caribbean consists of the Windward Islands to
the South and the Leeward islands to the North (Starting with from Antigua to
BVI). The British Virgin Islands are part of the Leeward Islands, North West of
Antigua and due East of Puerto Rico. The Leewards start from Grenada and end with Guadeloupe. St.Vincent and the Grenadines are part of the Windward Islands, due West of Barbados. St.Vincent and the Grenadines consist of some 30 islands. They are known as the 'Jewels of the Caribbean'. |
