Indian Princess is possibly one of the most recognisable and well known superyachts from the late 1980’s. Her Jon Bannenberg design and styling give her a unique yet aesthetically appealing profile that was substantially improved upon during her major refit and lengthening in 1996/97 at the DML shipyard, Plymouth, England. Owner's suite, in clear maple burl, is on the main deck, with king size bed, and His and Her bathrooms in Honey Onyx. The panoramic saloon, located forward and up the stairs allows for lovely views through 9 windows with Her desk to starboard and a plasma screen to port. The Owner's private study features the internet station to starboard and large flat screen TV to port. The four guest cabins on the lower deck can be accessed through the central main staircase or by the glass elevator down to the guests' lobby, fitted with a cabinet mini-bar. Two of the guest cabins have queen size beds and two twins have 120 cm beds with pullmans. Forward port twin cabin is made of European plane tree and the starboard one of eucalyptus. The port cabin bathroom is decorated with laguna green marble and the starboard one with Guatemala green. Two double cabins are aft and feature birdeye maple (port) and harewood (starboard). Their cabins feature jacuzzi bathtubs and separate toilet. Port is decorated with stallatite marble and the starboard one with Egyptian yellow. On the upper deck the natural colour maple burl VIP cabin is located to starboard. Large rectangular windows, full length of the cabin, make it light and spacious. Queen size bed and a large en suite orange onyx bathroom with jacuzzi bathtub. The skylounge is dedicated to the entertainment of the guests with a large corner bar, game table and 4 chairs, 2 separate seating areas with sofas and loose armchairs. Made of European plane tree and the floor burma teak parquet, this area can become a home cinema with 42" plasma screen and a 77" retractable screen with projector. An exciting feature of GALAXY is the large glass panelled panoramic dining room in European plain tree and burma teak floor. Access is possible through the glass door in the skylounge or from the outside area of the upper deck. 2 of the 4 glass panels open electrically and allow a 180 degree view of the sea. The enlargeable round table can seat 8 to 14 for formal or informal dining. Pulpit is aft of the panoramic dining room. For top quality service, the bar area communicates with the pantry and crew stairs. Here is also the dumb waiter. Bar and pantry are equipped with day fridge, icemaker, wine cellar for 70 bottles, expresso machine, dishwasher and microwave. The main deck saloon, dining room and lobby are vertically panelled in timber and leather and the dining table is rectangular with an extension for 10/14 guests. Large side windows with electrically operated curtains and blins, and two pop-up 50" plasma tv's, port and starboard, are linked to DVD and satellite. The floors of the areas, as well as lobbies, main foyer, upper deck saloon and veranda are burma teak parquet, giving the yacht a cosy, yet vibrant atmosphere.
